Georgia

Performance Specialist

  • Certified Instructor, CORE Suspension
  • Certified Zhealth Practitioner

Beth Godwin is a performance specialist at Activcore with certifications in Zhealth STI Phase, pro axis, and CORE suspension. She works at Activcore in Atlanta, Georgia, located just 2 miles from Emory University.

Beth grew up in Atlanta and has lived all over the US. She has a Bachelor Vocal/Piano degree from Eastern Michigan University. She taught high school music as well as performed as a singer and pianist at piano bars and other venues. She also has directed youth worship groups, and still canters at church weekly.

Beth has always had a love of sports growing up with 8 brothers playing basketball, track, and volleyball. As an adult athlete, she trains on Redcord, weights, Pilates, yoga, running and is a competitive A1 tennis player versus athletes half her age. Age does not define Beth.

Beth’s life was shaped dramatically in high school with her court appearance supporting and ultimate passage of Title 9. In one year, women’s sports went from homemade uniforms with limited facility access to being provided uniforms, equipment and equal court time. To this day, Beth is so proud every time she sees young women on the fields, in the gym, on the court playing and loving sports.

After shoulder surgery, Beth and her surgeon were so impressed by her rapid and full recovery using Redcord, she decided to be certified in Redcord as well as Zhealth, which is brain-based movement to help with recovery.

Outside the studio Beth shares her life with her husband, her college bound son and enjoys visiting her two adult children as well as giving back to the community through volunteering.

Beth is thrilled to be able to merge her love of fitness and competitive sports to help clients of all ages through the practices of Redcord and Zhealth.
