Katie Doyle-Elmer is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who specializes in pelvic health, women's health, and performing arts physical therapy. She works at Activcore in Princeton, New Jersey, located just 2 miles from Princeton University.
Katie enjoys working with people of all ages. She is especially passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum clients, as she is a mother of three and knows the trials and tribulations that come along with navigating motherhood. She strives to create a comfortable, inclusive and safe environment for her clients. Using myofascial techniques and specialized exercise programs, Katie endeavors to improve her client's daily lives one day at a time.
Katie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2010. She started her physical therapy career working in an orthopedic clinic specializing in sports and performing arts physical therapy. In 2011, Katie took her first pelvic physical therapy course and her passion to help patients with pelvic health condition began. Katie joined a hospital based, outpatient pelvic health physical therapy clinic in 2017 and her passion has continued to grow. In 2022, Katie began a breast conditions program at her previous position, working with postpartum mothers with mastitis, blocked ducts, nipple pain, etc.
Katie was inspired to become a health and wellness provider due to her mother, who was a nurse for 30+ years in both a hospital and as a school nurse in nearby West Windsor, NJ. Katie started dancing at the age of 3 and quickly fell in love with dance and movement. She quickly figured out that she could combine her love of movement and need to help others by becoming a physical therapist. Katie continued her passion for dance after graduating from PT school, when she became a Jazzercise instructor from 2011 to 2017.
Besides practicing physical therapy and fitness, Katie loves spending time with her husband and kids. She enjoys reading, dancing and baking in her free time.

As a trauma survivor, Katie knew exactly how to approach my care in ways to avoid triggering me.
Katie helped me so much during and after my pregnancy. She set clear goals and helped me achieve them. She even called me after delivery to remind me about how to start my healing!
Katie has successfully led me back to my old self, feeling stronger and pain free, after 3 pregnancies and hernia surgery. She listens to all my concerns, takes the time to explain to me all the exercises and anatomy of the body, and constantly checks in with me each week in case changes in my care plan need to be made. Katie is my hero!
Katie is one of the best physical therapists I've ever worked with (and I've been to many unfortunately). She always listens and shows me compassion. She puts my feelings and needs first and her hard work has made me feel so much better. She's truly dedicated to her job and her patients.
