Her other greatest passion is enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and Bernese mountain dog. Postpartum moms — seriously look no further. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Rachel Newall at Activcore. I had twins this past summer and it left me with a 3 finger wide gap in my abdomen and severe lower back issues.
Rachel was able to fix the positioning of my hips (which were uneven) within the first session and after just two months, got my 3 finger gap to just over a half a finger. I seriously did not think it was possible. I am finally feeling like my body is getting back to pre-pregnancy, and I truly owe it all to Rachel.
Activcore is a gem of a company. From the front staff, to the equipment, to the value of what you are paying. I could not recommend them and Rachel more!
I love Activcore, especially the knowledgeable and affable Dr. Rachel Newall, an expert on pelvic floor issues. (In fact, Rachel can help you with any physical therapy need.) I had suffered with a prolapsed bladder for over a year when I started PT with her. Many women with this condition end up having surgery, but I am certain I can avoid it due to her targeted therapy and exercise plan. I recommend her and Activcore without reservations.
I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Rachel at Activcore. I have had chronic back issues from an old car accident and have tried so many different therapy methods over the last four years. Rachel's system is the first one that I have found that is truly fixing the problems in my back. I have been able to get off of my pain medications and no longer feel the need for regular massages and chiropractor adjustments. My pain levels have dropped immensely and I no longer have the big debilitating flair ups that I had become accustomed to dealing with in the past. I feel that my quality of life has improved so much and I highly recommend this office.
Over the years pelvic pain becomes a way of life so much that you almost don’t notice until something happens that brings the pain back into focus.
Recovering from from an acute urinary tract infection which becomes chronic prostatitis is no cake walk. Symptoms like urethral stinging, perineum pain and general pelvic discomfort become what seems like a way of life even though you take all kinds of medications to alleviate the symptoms.
Luckily, during the UTI, while being treated by my internist, she suggested I try pelvic floor therapy since the symptoms were tough to overcome.
I was, at first, skeptical and nervous however Rachel Newall put me at ease right away when she told me she was the only person who would be working on me until I was cured.
While my inflammation lasted for months, the aftereffects include pudental neuritis which my radiologist suggested takes a while to cure. She also suggested that pelvic floor physical therapy is an important part of the healing process and prescribed that I continue. The therapy along with the home exercises have strengthened my core and helped me understand the nature of my pain.
Rachel understands the path to healing. She has helped me learn how to manage and perhaps solve a current acute problem as well as age old issues surrounding many surgeries and injuries which have occurred over 7 decades.
Rachel has a special gift. She has great training combined with an intuitive understanding of how to enable one to set themselves on a path to live a pain controlled life. What a relief!
