Ashlea Lytle is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who has been practicing for over a decade in the Denver area. She specializes in orthopedics and pelvic health for adults and kids. She primarily works at Activcore in Castle Rock, Colorado.

Ashlea graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors in Sport Science. Then she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center — ranked among the top 25 physical therapy schools in the country. While in college, she was on the Kansas Women's Rowing Team where she fell in love with the idea of becoming a physical therapist.

As a physical therapist, Ashlea pursued advanced training in orthopedics and pelvic health. She is uniquely qualified to handle more complex conditions like pelvic floor dysfunction, including bowel, bladder and sexual health problems. As a mom herself, Ashlea has a special interest in helping women through pregnancy and postpartum care. She also has experience in men's health. Most recently, she has been learning how to provide pelvic fitness through the teachings of Becky Keller, the nation's leading authority in Low Pressure Fitness.

Besides treating adults of all genders, Ashlea also provides exceptional care to children with pelvic floor dysfunction. Common issues include bed wetting, constipation and abdominal pain. Helping kids has been near and dear to Ashlea’s heart, since there aren't many physical therapists who specialize in the pediatric pelvic floor.

Ashlea lives an active lifestyle. She enjoys hiking, running, playing volleyball, snowboarding, weight training, yoga and most of all spending time with her husband and sons.

My Reviews

I have been a practicing Chiropractor for 28 years. My body is paying the price for decades of abuse. I had my first treatment with Dr. Ashlea Lytle. My shoulders are severely arthritic and have very reduced range of motion. The Redcord system is amazing! After just one treatment I had no shoulder pain for the first time in about 3 years. Dr. Ashlea is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and really listens to what you have to say and finds the best treatment for whatever condition you are battling. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!

After two pregnancies and C sections my core and pelvic floor were a mess causing almost constant pain for two years. I tried chiropractic, massage and was getting nowhere. After one treatment at Activcore, I was able to get almost complete relief!!! And the pain was non-existent after a few treatments! I was given specific exercises to restore my muscles and target my pain areas! I now feel like I have the skills and exercises tailored to me and my life to be able to continue to work on my core and get my life back!! Dr. Ashlea Lytle is amazing and so knowledgeable. I would recommend her every day of the week!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Ashlea Lytle at the Castle Rock location. She was amazing. She really took the time to find the cause of my pain and provide not only symptom relief, but also healing the issue entirely. I highly recommend Activcore!

If you're in the Denver metro area and dealing with pain or want to improve your fitness, I highly recommend Activcore Physical Therapy & Performance! Ashlea Lytle, PT, DPT, TPDN and her team are doing some next-level things with their approach to relieving (and preventing) pain and boosting physical performance. And if you're unfamiliar with Redcord suspension training like I was, you should really give it a shot. Two minutes of it will quickly show you where you're physically weak or imbalanced.

I’m a lifelong active outdoorsman in my mid-60’s with the goal to stay that way as long as I can. My introduction to Dr. Ashlea Lytle at Activcore came following emergency bowel surgery and reattachment that left an incision site susceptible to herniating – which it did. Prior to surgery to repair the abdominal hernia, Dr. Scott Golembeski recommended Ashlea to begin prehab before the operation followed by rehab. Ashlea and I discussed my goals of a full return to golfing, hunting, canoeing and other strenuous outdoor activities. She designed and paced my physical therapy program as to not risk reinjury while pursuing full recovery. Specifically, we worked on core strength, flexibility, balance and stretching. I can honestly say the Redcord suspension system tested new limits in my physical therapy history. End result, I’m hitting the golf ball better than ever, walking multiple miles hunting without pain, and canoeing in the wilderness - all with a flexible stronger core and better balance. Thank you Dr. Ashlea Lytle!

I was so pleased with my experience with Activcore PT and Dr. Ashlea Lytle. She was very professional and patient with me. The treatment was for some sensitive and somewhat embarrassing issues, and Dr. Ashlea made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her expertise and different treatment suggestions were helpful and corrected my problems. Thank you!

I don’t know what I would do if this wonderful place did not exist! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. I am a bikini competitor and the rigorous workouts take a toll on my body. I can always count on Dr. Ashlea Lytle to put me back together again and leave me feeling like new. I highly recommend this place!

After daily abdominal pain and discomfort for over a year my doctor sent me to Ashlea at Activcore, a pelvic floor specialist. After 5 appointments I have been pain free for 3 weeks. She has always been professional and caring and I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Ashlea Lytle is very personable and great at her job! She never made me feel uncomfortable and was able to target my pain areas and provide recommendations for outside of the sessions. She understands that the goal is to help her clients feel better so that they can continue to strengthen on their own and have fewer sessions. I have never done PT before and she helped me get rid of my pain and identify areas to work on.

I have been suffering from right and left flank pain for over three years! After trying multiple specialists and remedies to help relieve my pain, I still had no relief. My GI recommended I give Activcore a try for not only my flank pain, but also for my GERD from which I had been suffering from a pretty intense flare up. I began my physical therapy with Dr. Ashlea Lytle at Activcore in April of 2019. The appointments went well. The front desk was especially friendly and Ashlea was very informative and easy to talk to. Ashlea was determined to figure out what the heck was causing my flank pain. She was extremely thorough. After multiple dry needling sessions, exercises, diet changes, performance therapy, stretches, and pelvic work, I finally started to feel some relief in with both my flank pain and my GERD flare up. I went from pain all day EVERY SINGLE DAY, to pain once a month for only a few days. When I started with Ashlea, I was also currently training for three triathlons. I had multiple goals, not only for my health, but for my races as well. I was able to meet my goals, plus some. I was finally able to train without pain, both during and after my workouts. That was huge for me. We worked on strengthening during the performance therapy sessions to help with both my health goals and triathlon goals. My second triathlon on August 3rd, 2019, was especially important, as I was racing to bring awareness and end breast and ovarian cancer. During the race, I felt fantastic and reached my goal by making top 10, which is considered elite and was also 1st in my division. Oh, and I had zero pain! I am so thankful that my GI recommended Activcore and I had Ashlea Lytle as my Physical Therapist. I not only feel better, but I have learned so much more about my body because of Ashlea. I will continue to use all the exercises and stretches I learned throughout my time at Activcore.

I slipped a disc in my back while on a bike ride and my husband rushed back to get the car while I waited in agony at the park.  This happened several times before… even unloading a dishwasher… and I was tired of the recurring issues. Dr. Ashlea helped me tremendously—we worked on the Red Cord and she gave me excellent instruction and home exercises that have helped prevent any further problems. Now I am feeling my absolute best. I’m so happy to know how to prevent this, and to be active on the bike again without fear of flare ups!

My doctor referred me to Activcore for some retraining which has progressed very well and while getting the retraining therapy I asked my therapist, Dr. Ashlea Lytle, if she could help with a severe pain on the outer part of my right leg near my hip (Bursitis). Ashlea treated me and the pain I've consistently had for over 6 years has improved so much I can now sleep on my right side with no pain. I'm so grateful to Ashlea for successfully treating my initial problem and fixing one that I thought I would just have to live with. Thank you Ashlea Lytle so much and I would recommend you to all in need.
