GENERAL QUESTIONS

If you have any physical limitations preventing you from being at your very best in sport or everyday life, you need Activcore. Our team of movement experts will perform a thorough movement assessment to find the root cause of any pain, weakness and dysfunction. We will then develop a program tailored for your lifestyle and goals. Besides restoring a better quality of life as it relates to movement and health, we can also help prevent the onset, recurrence, and progression of many injuries and illnesses through the implementation of an ongoing performance training program.

A better experience. Our physical therapists give their full undivided attention to you at every session. A more personalized, total body experience that delivers real results faster than conventional, high volume physical therapy.

A smarter approach. Applying the power of neuromuscular activation, we can elevate how your mind and muscles work together for a smarter, balanced body. We are experts in Redcord suspension, the preeminent tool for delivering neuromuscular activation.

A faster outcome. Our approach is scientifically proven, highly engaging, and it works. We’re confident you’ll feel the difference from your first visit. When your mind and body are connecting properly, the effects are unrivaled.

Everyone has a pelvis, so just about every "body" can benefit from better pelvic health.

Many events (injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, etc.) tend to pull your body out of balance and into a cycle of pain and dysfunction. Your pelvis often plays a vital role in this, as the center connection point between your upper and lower body. It is core to the way you move, breathe and regulate normal bodily processes like voiding.

Equipped with the Redcord suspension system and other hands-on tools, Activcore physical therapists are specially trained to optimize how your mind and pelvis work together for better control of your body.

  • Relieve/resolve pain
  • Develop core strength
  • Improve sexual function
  • Regain bladder and bowel control

The power of more. Our experienced physical therapists and performance specialists work together as an integrated team to deliver results greater and more sustainable than either could alone. The physical therapist examines your body as a whole, correcting underlying imbalances and restoring function through an innovative, one-on-one approach to physical therapy. The performance specialist reinforces and strengthens your movement patterns through intentional, progressive strength training methods. By combining physical therapy with performance, you can develop a smarter, balanced body in less time.

Absolutely not. We don't subscribe to the 'no pain, no gain' philosophy at Activcore. Supported by the Redcord suspension system, you are able to safely engage in exercises tailored for you and your specific condition. There are slings and bungee cords to assist you with each precise movement. Similar to floating in water, this creates a weightless environment where you can painlessly optimize the mind-body connection, regardless of your age and strength level.

Typically no. Physical therapists have direct access in all 50 states. This means you can see a physical therapist without a physician's referral. However, certain insurance plans (like Medicare) still require a prescription.

All Medicare clients need a valid prescription dated within 30 days of their first appointment.

If you're not sure if you need one, simply call us to find out. Click here to find a location near you.

1.  Any medical images and reports (X-rays, MRI, etc.)

2.  Loose fitting clothing (preferably athletic) so that we can easily access your injured body part

3.  A valid ID (drivers license, etc.)

4.  A prescription, if needed — see previous question

5.  An insurance card, if you are having us submit claims

BILLING QUESTIONS

Probably not. While our price per session is higher than conventional physical therapy, it can actually be less costly for you in the end. Here’s how.

With conventional high-volume physical therapy, it is common for your PT to give you only about 15 minutes of undivided time and attention per session. You're then passed off to an assistant (or aide) to do exercises that you probably could have just done at home.

You're never treated like a number at Activcore. Our physical therapists stay by your side throughout each session — attentively listening to you, thoroughly answering your questions, and effectively addressing your specific health and wellness needs. This highly personalized experience can make a huge difference in terms of your progress and overall outcome.

Your time is valuable. You would have to see the conventional PT more than three times just to equal what you could achieve in one single session at Activcore. That’s more than 3 times the co-pays. That’s also more time spent in physical therapy and away from your work, school, and/or family. And that’s more time spent in pain. Can you put a price tag on additional weeks of pain?

The point is, when comparing the cost of conventional PT versus Activcore, there’s much more to consider than just the price of each session.

In a word, freedom. With the ever-changing insurance landscape, less and less time is directed at actually treating the patient. Conventional physical therapists must see multiple patients at the same time, typically pushing you off to an assistant or aide. Or, even worse, leaving you on your own to do exercises that you could have just done at home.

Activcore refuses to play the volume game. As an out-of-network provider, we can prioritize you and your health over everything else.

Out-of-network simply means there isn't a financial contract between Activcore and the insurance company. By paying upfront for each session, you are able to get what you need to feel better sooner. If you have out-of-network benefits, our billing specialists will still submit insurance claims on your behalf so that you can get reimbursed.

Yes, if you have out-of-network physical therapy benefits. Our billing specialists are available to verify your benefits and submit insurance claims on your behalf.

Our policy is to collect payment from you in full at the time of each session. If you have insurance coverage, you can get reimbursed directly from your insurance company.

Typically you should expect to get reimbursed within 4-6 weeks from each date of service. How much you get reimbursed depends on your specific insurance plan. We do not make any guarantees of coverage or reimbursement.

In terms of performance training, most insurance plans do not cover any wellness services. Upon request, our billing specialists are available to help verify if you have any wellness coverage. We do accept Health Saving Account (HSA) cards that can often be applied toward these services.
