Not all physical therapy is the same. In the conventional healthcare system, physical therapists are juggling 2, 3 or 4 patients every hour. According to recent stats, only 6-25% of those patients actually complete a full course of care. This means up to 94% drop out of PT. It's a staggering statistic that should make you think twice about where you go for physical therapy. (Source: The State of Rehab Therapy by WebPT)
Activcore is different. Our physical therapists treat just 1 person per hour. Since 2004 we've been providing the most personalized physical therapy and fitness training experiences for a faster recovery and better outcome. LEARN MORE
If you've ever had a sports injury, concussion, pregnancy, surgery, cancer or any health condition, you should see a physical therapist. Our team of movement experts will test your whole body to identify any hidden muscle imbalances that hold you back from feeling, moving or performing at your absolute best. Besides restoring a better quality of life as it relates to movement, we can also help prevent the recurrence of injury through ongoing performance training.
Everyone has a pelvis so just about every BODY could benefit from better pelvic health. Many physical events (injury, illness, surgery, pregnancy, etc.) tend to pull your body out of balance and into a cycle of pain and dysfunction. Your pelvis often plays a vital role in this, as the center connection point between your upper and lower body. It is core to the way you move, breathe and regulate normal bodily processes like voiding urine.
• Relieve pelvic pain
• Develop core strength
• Improve sexual function
• Regain bladder control
You don't need a prescription unless you have Medicare.
In all 50 States, physical therapists can practice without a physician’s referral. This is called direct access. However, based on your medical history, we may still recommend that you see a physician prior to starting a course of care.

Absolutely not. We don't subscribe to the "no pain, no gain" philosophy at Activcore. We use the Redcord suspension system to help you safely engage in exercises without interference of pain. Similar to floating in a pool, the slings and bungee cords create an ideal training environment to regain muscle control and healthy movement patterns.

In a word, freedom. With the ever-changing insurance landscape, less and less time is directed at actually treating the patient. Conventional physical therapists must see multiple people at the same time, typically pushing you off to an assistant or aide. Or, even worse, they leave you on your own to do exercises that you could have just done at home.
Activcore refuses to play this volume game. As an out-of-network provider, we can prioritize you and your health over everything else. Out-of-network simply means there's no financial contract between Activcore and the insurance company. By paying upfront for each session, you're able to get the care you need to feel better sooner.
Yes, you can go to any PT you want. Out-of-network simply means that you are seeing a PT who is not contracted financially with your insurance company. This does not necessarily mean that the service isn’t covered under your insurance policy. Our billing specialists can verify if you qualify for reimbursement.
Our policy is to collect payment in full from you at the time of service. We can then submit the insurance claims so that you get reimbursed directly from your insurance company. Typically you will start receiving reimbursement checks within 4-6 weeks. Note: If you have a yearly deductible, that amount must be met before any reimbursement is issued.
Activcore does not make any guarantees of insurance coverage or reimbursement.

Yes! Physical therapy services are typically covered by Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).
Probably not. While our out-of-pocket cost per session is higher than conventional physical therapy, it can actually be less costly for you in the end. Here’s how.
With standard "factory style" PT, it is common to get only about 15 minutes of undivided time and attention from the physical therapist at each session. You are then passed off to an assistant or aide to do exercises that you probably could have just done at home.
You're never treated like a number at Activcore. Our physical therapists stay by your side throughout every session. They attentively listen to you, thoroughly answer your questions, and effectively address your individual health and wellness needs. They also treat the whole person (not just a body part) and precisely target the underlying source of the pain or whatever it is that's holding you back from feeling, moving, and performing at your absolute best. This highly personalized experience can make a huge difference in terms of your progress and overall outcome.
Your time is valuable. You would have to see the conventional PT more than three times just to equal what you could achieve in one single session at Activcore. That means 3 times the co-pays. That means more time spent in PT and away from your work, school, or family. And that also means more time spent in pain. Can you put a price tag on additional weeks of pain?
The point is, when comparing the cost of conventional PT versus Activcore, there’s much more to consider than just the price of each session.
