We will go beyond your symptoms by searching for any hidden muscle imbalances that hold you back from feeling, moving and performing at your very best. These imbalances are often far away from where you have pain. For example, chronic shoulder pain typically stems from deactivated and weakened muscles around the pelvis, hips, spine and rib cage. That's why you need a physical therapist to test and treat your whole body from head to toe.

REGAINING CONTROL OF YOUR BODY

We will use the Redcord suspension system to create a "zero-gravity" environment where you can safely exercise with precise muscle control and without the interference of pain. It's sort of like doing aquatic therapy on land. You will learn how to move, balance and stabilize your own bodyweight through specific joint motions. Each repetition builds core strength and joint stability across entire chains of muscles (the myofascial chains) so that your whole body will feel more stable and become less susceptible to injury.

REINFORCING HEALTHY MOVEMENT PATTERNS

We will provide ongoing fitness training to support your recovery and unleash your body's full potential. These are exercise programs tailored for you and your particular health and wellness needs, lifestyle and goals. Some of the specialized techniques we apply may include: Redcord, Pilates, Yoga, and Low Pressure Fitness (hypopressives). There are also online fitness classes available for your convenience.
