Kristi Herbert is a dedicated fitness professional who inspires her clients to move and feel better every day by incorporating a unique blend of multi-disciplinary health and wellness techniques. She works at Activcore in Princeton, New Jersey, located just 2 miles from Princeton University.
Kristi is passionate about all things movement related. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University. She started her fitness and wellness career part time in 2010 while continuing her accounting career. After spending several years working in a local gym, training clients 1-on-1 and teaching group classes, Kristi opened a studio at her home in Pennington, New Jersey.
A calf injury in 2014 led her to a physical therapist, which proved to be a transformational event and resulted in her pursuit of certifications in Functional Movement Systems. Since then, she has continuously devoted her education and efforts toward studying anatomy and physiology, learning as much about the body as possible, and obtaining various certifications in personal training and fitness.
In 2016, Kristi also completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification in LYT Yoga (formerly Yoga Stream) in Princeton, New Jersey, where she taught group classes and pursued advanced modules in continuing education towards her 500-hour certification.
Most recently, Kristi was introduced to Low Pressure Fitness as a patient of Activcore Princeton and immediately developed a passion for it, going on to complete her Low Pressure Fitness level 3 certification. She teaches her private clients as well as group classes and is extremely fortunate and grateful to have been trained under the direction of skilled and experienced physical therapists and clinicians and incorporates that into every session. She draws on her own past injuries as learning experiences to educate each client and group with compassion and professionalism.

A really exceptional place. Kristi Herbert has been amazing at teaching me how to exercise and stay pain free without giving up activities I enjoy. She is super friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, unlike a lot of other places, they work with you one-on-one. So, you can always ask questions, give feedback, and you don't have to wonder if you're doing an exercise correctly while your trainer/therapist is off with some other client.
